How do I redeem my gift card?

Gift cards can be redeemed online for memberships, admission tickets, train and carousel tickets, special events, and animal encounters.

To redeem your gift card:

1. Place your purchase in the online shopping cart
2. On the order summary page, choose “Redeem Gift Card” as your payment option
3. Enter your gift card number

• • On plastic gift cards, the gift card number is a 9-digit code located under the bar code.
  • For electronic gift cards, the gift card number is a 10- to 12-digit reference number located under the QR code on the pdf of the gift card you received. The gift card number can also be located in the emailed purchase receipt.

After you redeem your gift card as payment, if there is any remaining balance due on your purchase, you will be prompted for credit card information.

Please note: Multiple gift cards cannot be redeemed online in a single transaction. If you need to redeem multiple gift cards for a membership, please send an email to [e-mail] 

For Memberships Only: We encourage online purchases for memberships, using the payment instructions above. Train and carousel tickets: We encourage you to book train and carousel rides online at the same time you purchase your admission tickets. However, gift cards can also be redeemed at the zoo for train and carousel tickets.
