This issue usually occurs when you purchased a new membership instead of renewing your existing one. A new membership creates a new Membership Number, which causes an error when trying to register your email with the new number, as it's still linked to the old one.
To fix this quickly, email us at membership@oregonzoo.org and we’ll merge your accounts so you can keep using your email.
You can also update your member ID by logging in, going to My Account, entering your new member ID, and clicking "Save Changes." However, we still recommend contacting us to merge the records.
Another cause of this issue is if you bought General Admission tickets before registering your email as a member, creating an account not linked to a membership number.
