Digital membership cardholders can now visit without a reservation after 2 p.m. and up to 90 minutes before zoo grounds close, every day! No more hassle of booking in advance. However, please note that for all visits before 2 p.m. and any extra guests not covered by your reservation still require online booking.
To enjoy a reservation-free visit, please ensure you have:
- Proof of current membership (with all member names and details visible and a scannable barcode)
- Your current expiration date and member level must be visible (for digital card help click here)
- Photo ID for all named adults accompanying you
Here are some important points to remember:
- A named adult with photo ID must be present for all member visits. If you're using a reservation made under a named member, you'll need to show your photo ID.
- Social media profiles or other pictures are not acceptable forms of ID.
- Named members cannot be substituted for anyone else.
- If you don't have proof of membership, you'll need to make a reservation.
- Reservations are necessary for anyone not covered by your membership, as well as for all general admission visits.
- Member visits before 2 p.m. still require reservations.
Our reservation-free hours for members are from 2 p.m. until 90 minutes before the zoo closes. Please note that late entry is not permitted. For current hours, visit https://www.oregonzoo.org/visit/hours-and-tickets.
Keep in mind that reservation-free hours may change due to early closures or special events.
If you don't have a scannable digital membership card, you can make a member reservation at https://go.oregonzoo.org/#/AdmissionCategory/MemAdmission and present your ticket and photo ID at the gate. Unfortunately, our on-site staff cannot assist with digital card issues.
Not sure how to access your digital card? Look for the download link in your Membership Matters monthly member email. Alternatively, you can present a PDF or browser view of your membership digital card details, ensuring that all information is visible and there's a scannable barcode.
For any questions about your digital card, feel free to email us at membership@oregonzoo.org before your visit date. This will allow us time to update or send your digital card.
